CURRICULUM
A Curriculum That Supports the Whole Student
At Pinnacle AP, our curriculum is built around the needs of young people who haven’t thrived in traditional settings. We combine core academic learning with personal development, life skills, and enrichment opportunities to create a pathway supporting educational success and long-term wellbeing.
Whether students need to re-engage with learning, catch up on missed content, or discover their strengths through hands-on experiences, our flexible curriculum provides the tools they need to confidently move forward.
ENGLISH
Our English curriculum supports students at a range of levels—from building basic literacy skills to preparing for functional skills or GCSE qualifications. We use accessible texts, engaging topics, and creative writing to make literacy relevant and rewarding.
MATHEMATICS
Practical, personalised maths that builds real-life problem-solving skills.
Students work at their own pace with support tailored to their ability and needs. Our Maths provision focuses on key skills like numeracy, budgeting, and everyday applications, with pathways toward functional skills and qualifications.
FOOTBALL COACHING
Physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline through sport.
Our Football Coaching programme is about more than physical activity—it’s a powerful vehicle for building confidence, leadership, and resilience. Sessions are led by experienced coaches who understand the value of sport in personal development.
CAREERS & PROGRESSION
Inspiring ambition and planning for the future.
We support students in identifying their next steps—whether it’s returning to mainstream school, entering further education, or exploring apprenticeships. With careers workshops, one-to-one guidance, and employer links, we help them move forward with clarity.
